Galvin to put the style back into Wexford football

Wexford GAA have announced that four-time All-Ireland winner, Paul Galvin, has been nominated to take charge of the county’s senior footballers for a two-year term. He will be ratified at next month’s county board meeting.

A statement from Wexford GAA said, he had “impressed the selection committee during the interview process with his knowledge of and passion for the game, along with his vision for Wexford football, at both senior, and development level”. Details of Paul’s back-room team will be confirmed at a press conference, subject to his successful ratification, details of which will be notified following the next meeting of the Wexford GAA County Board in early September.”

Galvin, married to radio presenter, Louise Duffy, has penned a weekly fashion column for the Irish Independent,and presented a show on Radio Kerry and has over one hundred thousand followers on Twitter.
