Presentation Wexford Win League Title

Presentation Wexford won the Novice League 2019

Loreto Wexford won the final leg of the hotly contested Doagh Equestrian Novice & Primary league final at Wexford Equestrian on Bank Holiday Monday, and they also claimed third place with their second team. Second place on the day went to Presentation Wexford who fielded three teams to battle it out for the league title. This Proved a successful tactic, with the final league going to Presentation Wexford , Loreto Wexford second, and third to Gorey Community School.

Four teams went into the jump off, and two riders from each team were drawn to compete on the twisting and testing course built by National course builder, and owner, Pat Peare. Presentation Wexford drawn first to jump, they had one pole down, as did Gorey CS, however both Loreto riders secured clear rounds putting the pressure on the others to hope for a mistake with the second riders.

The winning Loreto Wexford, the blue team, Lilly Mai Berry, Chloe Roche Brennan, Leah Roche Brennan and Taylor Peare produced only double clear rounds to claim victory.

Presentation Wexford; Emily Roche, Lauren Wreck, Alisha Deery and Ciara Moore were to place second with 4 faults, and third went to Loreto Wexford, the red team; Grace Cousins, Anna Browne, Flora Doran and Taylor Peare, on a second pony. The fourth place team in the jump off was Gorey CS, Lauren Spencer, April Haxby, Angelica Mc Gee and Naoimi Doyle.
