In this afternoon’s Allianz Division 1A clash in Cusack Park, Ennis, Clare, were ahead by 13 points, with just 20 minutes to go, but they seemed to take their foot of the throttle, and Wexford responded by scoring an unanswered 1-08, and with 7 minutes to go, only 2 points separated the sides, 2-19 to 1-20.

Shaun Murphy’s brilliant volley closed the gap to just 2 points.
Following today’s result Wexford are currently lying in second place behind Limerick, so next Sunday’s clash, against Kilkenny, in Innovate Wexford Park, will be crucial.
