Reigning Intermediate Champions Kilanerin marked their return to top flight football by taking both points at Innovate Wexford Park in the opening round of the Tom Doyle Supplies Senior Football Championship against Sarsfields on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-06.

The Wexford town side led 0-05 to 0-03 at the break, but second half goals from Conor Devitt and Dean O’Toole sealed it for Kilanerin.
