The Michael Murphy Parish League takes place on St. Stephens Day, in Blackwater GAA pitch, with the first match throwing in at 11am. The competition has been run since 2016 among the different areas of Blackwater parish, it is named in memory of Michael Murphy, who played for the club and sadly passed away in 2004. The 2016 Champions, Inch Road Nigglers, play Island Rangers while 2017 champions, The Heroes, will play The Fenians.
