Republic of Ireland 4-0 Northern Ireland
Wexford’s Rianna Jarrett played a huge part in Ireland’s victory over Northern Ireland in Tallaght on Friday evening. The Wexford Youth’s player was first to react to Burns’ save to set up Katie McCabe for the Republic’s second goal in the 11th minute.

The home side took an early lead through Leanne Kiernan from a lofted Diane Caldwell pass in only the 3rd minute.
The West Ham player made it 3-0 after 26 minutes, and Katie McCabe slooted home a second half penalty to round off a comfortable victory for the home team.
It was a much needed victory for Colin Bell’s side, as three successive defeats scuppered any chance of a World Cup qualification place, and Ireland took third place in their group.
