Killag, Duncormick will accommodate an estimated influx of more than 15,000 people for the 69th Bannow & Rathangan Agricultural Show tomorrow (Thursday) and field preparations are complete and a tried and tested traffic plan will be in operation.
“We are ready to go with the help of over 300 volunteers and there is something for everybody and it is a family day out,” Chairperson Betty Stafford told WexfordToday.com

There will be over 300 trade stands, a food village, stalls and exhibits of every description. The Home Industry alone has attracted over 1,000 entries in home baking, crafts, flowers, photography, and farm and garden produce.
Secretary Elizabeth Freeman told WexfordToday.com that the highlight of the show will be the Galway Irish Crystal-Belleek China Horse Sport Ireland three-year-old All-Ireland final with a prize fund of €6,000 starting at 1.30 pm.
The All-Ireland Home Cook Junior and Senior Championships is another highlight and it takes place in the Food Village marquee and is going on all day with demonstrations from Chef Adrian, Gopal Kawender from the Silver Fox Restaurant, Kilmore Quay, and Phelim Byrne, Séasúir.
The Dog Show starts at 2 pm. Parade of Vintage Machinery at 4 pm approximately and the competitive and exciting Inter-Hunt Chase goes off at 5.30 pm.
There will be music, a puppet show, magic with Joe Daly from RTE and a Fashion Show at 3 pm.
Admission is €10 (adults) €5 (seniors and students) and children under 16 are free.
