Wexford beat Dublin in a 6 goal bonanza at Parnell Park on Wednesday evening to reach the Bord Gais Energy Leinster U-21 Hurling Championship final against Galway on July 4th. Dublin had the advantage of having a competitive match against Westmeath, winning 2-13 to 1-13. Six of the Wexford seniors lined out for the visiting side.
Dublin shaded the first half, thanks to a Colin Currie goal, the city team led 1-08 to 0-08 at break.
Second half goals from Mikie Dwyer, Joe O’Connor and Rory O’Connor pushed Wexford to an impressive victory.
