Many armchair supporters were not impressed with Sky’s coverage of this evening’s Wexford v Kilkenny clash; viewers missed the first 22 minutes of the game from Nowlan Park, as the All-Ireland SFC qualifier between Meath and Tyrone went to extra time.
Both games were to be shown live on Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Main Event, the football at 5pm and the hurling at 7pm. It all seemed fine to the good people in Sky, but I guess someone from the GAA should explain to them about extra time.
So Sky took to Twitter to explain the confusion……….

Disgruntled viewers took to Twitter also…….
You are joke @SkySportsGAA sitting in to watch the wexford match and your still showing football. Arseholes advertising wexford game and then you don’t show it, #gaa #clowns

Much angst in the Nowlan Park press box with the live match on Sky going to extra time. What time will Kilkenny/Wexford start? What time will it finish?

Absolute shambles that Sky Sports are showing extra-time in the Meath vs Tyrone football game instead of Wexford vs Kilkenny. With Meath vs Tyrone being on both Main Event and Arena, surely they could show the start of the Wexford vs Kilkenny game on one of those channels? #GAA
