News of a major fire on Wexford Main Street emerged this morning, with fire crews working hard for hours to keep it under control.

The blaze is located in the South Main Street area and appears to have started either in, or adjacent to the pubs ‘The Foggy Dew’ and ‘The Sky and the Ground’, both very popular pubs in the town.

No details have emerged yet as to how the blaze started.

Thankfully, reports are suggesting that all people in the area have been evacuated safely. More as we have it…..
