The issue of littering and overflowing bins has again reared its ugly head in Enniscorthy Town this weekend.
In what appears to be a regular and ongoing problem, pedestrians along the promenade area of the town will have observed bins overflowing this afternoon.
It is unclear whether this issue is being caused by people using the bins for household rubbish or whether the authorities are simply not ensuring the bins are emptied regularly enough, or perhaps a combination of both.
Whatever the reason, let’s hope the issue can be addressed.
