Five people were rescued this afternoon by the Wexford RNLI after their jetski lost power and began sinking between Ferrycarrig Bridge and Killurin Bridge on the River Slaney.
The four teenagers and an adult managed to get to a nearby pontoon when they raised the alarm to the Coast Guard.
Wexford Lifeboat was paged at 2:57pm and was on scene at 3:28pm with three crew, Damien Foley, Ger Doran and David Marskellon, on board.
The crew took the four teenagers on board the lifeboat and brought them safely ashore at Killurin and returned to the scene for the adult and jetski.
