La Côte, on Custom House Quay, Wexford’s award-winning restaurant, is now closed due to the COVID 19 crisis in the country.
One of Ireland’s finest seafood restaurants, opened in 2014, it has gone from strength to strength, but on Friday, according to their Twitter account, the husband and wife team of, Paul and Edwina Hayes, made the following announcement.
“As you are aware we have been monitoring the unfolding circumstance with the Covid-19. We believe the right decision for our little restaurant is too close down for the next couple of weeks. During this time a clearer picture will unfold as to what to do next. We are in uncharted territory and we wanted to make the right decision when it comes to the health and wellbeing of all. We feel this is the right decision for us at this time.
Once this has passed we will be back open for business as usual. We are in the process of calling anyone who has not cancelled their booking yet. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you very soon.”
