The latest of this winter’s named storms, Jorge, claimed a number of sporting scalps this weekend, including all four Enniscorthy adult teams fixtures.

The ladies firsts match with Monkstown, the seconds at home to Rathgar, and the men’s sides derby games against Kilkenny and Wicklow have all been postponed to a later date, yet to be decided.

Looking ahead to this weekend, the ladies first eleven continue their quest for silverware as they entertain Clontarf at 12.30pm on Saturday. Division 11 basement side Pembroke Wanderers also visit the Astro Active Centre on Saturday with a 2.15pm tip-off against the ladies seconds. Meanwhile, the men’s sides are also in action on Saturday, with the men’s firsts traveling to Santry and a noon meeting with Dublin University in Division 4; two divisions below, the men’s seconds have the same opposition with a 1.45pm tip-off.
