The two men’s sides were at home on Saturday, the firsts hosting Pembroke Wanderers and the seconds welcoming league leaders Portrane.

Goals from debutant Daryl Hemmingway and Charlie Dunne, along with a clean sheet for captain Graham Hill gave the side a 2-0 win against the Dublin 4 side. It was a difficult afternoon at the Astro Active Centre for the seconds, going three goals behind against Portrane before a late consolation goal from Andrew Rothwell.
