Enniscorthy Mens team lose out at the weekend

Three Rock Rovers 4
Enniscorthy 2

A helter-skelter encounter for the men’s first eleven, six goals but no points for the visitors as Three Rock Rovers won their Division 4 clash 4-2.

Charlie Dunne with both Enniscorthy goals. The hosts scored their opener after ten minutes, having tested the Enniscorthy defence by winning a penalty corner and a long corner early on. Dunne got his first of the afternoon two minutes into the second quarter via a Cian Hogan pass but ‘Rock resumed the lead eleven minutes later, Hill unable to scramble the ball clear after an impressive save. Enniscorthy began brightly after the half time interval, with Dunne getting his second of the afternoon six minutes in.

Despite this being the visitors best period of the game, it was the Dublin side who managed to score once again, and they made sure of the points eleven minutes from time.
