Many households without water supply today

Irish Water working in partnership with Wexford County Council has told WexfordToday.com that crews are actively working to repair significant outages affecting the SOW Regional Supply Scheme which serves customers north of Wexford town, the east of the county and serves the extremities of Enniscorthy.

It is anticipated that the repair will be completed by 5 pm this afternoon however further updates will follow to confirm.
There is also another outage affecting the Gorey Regional Supply Scheme which may see customers without water for several hours today. Crews are working to repair the burst main as soon as possible and alternative water supply will be made available if necessary.

Once repairs are completed, it may take longer for water to be restored to customers on higher ground and on the extremities of the network.

Customers are advised to check the Irish Water website and social media channels for more information and to contact 1850 278 278 for more information. Irish Water would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
