Record Breaking Oaks win for Aidan O’Brien

Snowfall, ridden by Frankie Dettori landed the Epsom Oaks earlier today, for Aidan O’Brien, by a record breaking distance of 16 lengths. The previous record winning margin in the race was 12 lengths.

Today’s win brings O’Brien’s total of wins in the race to 9, while he also draws level with John Scott for the most classics of all time, with 40 each.
