The traditional Spring Sale of Point-to-Pointers and Horses in Training Sale took place in Doncaster this week. Once again a Denis Murphy horse-topped proceedings, Happy d’Ex (FR), a 4yo Saddler Maker mare easily won her 3 runner Dromahane maiden in early May, Gordon Elliott went to £195,000 to secure the impressive winner.

Donnchadh Doyle’s Dromahane runner-up, Super Survivor (IRE), was a £115,000 purchase for Jamie Snowden.

Last Saturday’s Necarne winner, Curtain Tim, trained by Cormac Doyle, was purchased by Gordon Elliott £100,000.
