Wexford Bohemians FC have today announced the location of their new home, in Ballykillane, Drinagh. After many months working on securing ownership of the ground, the club, who this year are celebrating their 50th anniversary, have announced details in a statement released earlier today:

Wexford Bohemians FC are delighted to announce a new permanent home for the club with the purchase of lands at Ballykillane, Drinagh.

Since our foundation 50 years ago in 1971, we have played in various locations. It is fantastic now to have a permanent home in a great location.

These are exciting times for the club. A permanent home of our own will enable us to grow and develop even more.

Great credit is due to everyone who has helped progress the club in the 50 years since our foundation. We must also thank everyone within the club who has helped in any way to make it possible for us to be able to purchase our own ground.

We are incredibly grateful to Verona Murphy TD who worked very hard to help us over many months to make this project become reality.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our many sponsors over the years; we look forward to your continued support.
