Despite the impact which the Covid19 pandemic has had on the finances of many organisations, Wexford GAA bucks that trend by reporting one of its largest (if not largest ever) net surpluses for the 2020 financial year.

The surplus for 2020 comes in at €507,000.

Income is down from €3,065,000 in 2019, to million to €2,108,000 in 2020.

Expenditure is down from €2,696,000 in 2019, to €1,600,000 in 2020. Most significantly, county team expenses are down by almost €300,000 to €636,000.

In 2019, Wexford GAA reported a surplus of €369,000.

This good news is testament to the hard work by all the team in Wexford GAA, with special mention to long serving treasurer Andrew Nolan.
