People throughout the country are encouraged to take part in the “Irish Garden Bird Survey”, every year thousands of people take part in BirdWatch Ireland’s most popular citizen science survey.
It starts tomorrow, Monday 30th of November and runs until February each year, people are asked to keep a note of the bird species visiting their garden every week.
Records can be emailed or posted, BirdWatch Ireland publish the results of the survey each year in the winter edition of their Wings magazine.
