Sheehan Welcomes New Ross Factory Development

Good news has been announced today concerning the proposed advance factory in Butlersland, New Ross.

Wexford County Council have been negotiating with various parties to secure the development of the factory.

County Council Chairman and New Ross based Councillor Michael Sheehan welcomes the news:

“I am pleased to report that an agreement in principle has now been reached with a consortium to build the factory of approx. 32,000 ft2 on council owned land in Butlersland. A full report will be made at your next Municipal Meeting and I would emphasise that we have not as yet signed contracts in this matter. The agreement is subject to approval of the Members under S183 and also the Part 8 planning process. The building of this factory will be a great opportunity for substantial job creation in New Ross and a substantial milestone in our Economic Development Plan.”
