Gardai in Gorey arrested four males last night as they responded to a report of a burglary in progress at business premises on the outskirts of the town.

Gardai located a vehicle connected with the incident which was stopped close to Arklow after the driver tried to intentionally crash into the responding patrol car. The men were arrested and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
