Gorey Rangers host Castlebar Celtic on Sunday with a place in the FAI Junior Cup quarter-final up for grabs. Celtic were drawn at home, but Storm Denis, re-fixed the original date to give Rangers home advantage for Sunday.
Gorey, unbeaten in Wexford this season, will be keen to advance in this seventh round clash and will look to replicate North End United’s success in the competition from a couple of seasons ago.
Castlebar Celtic are current Mayo champions, that league is played during the Summer, the strength of Mayo soccer is shown by the fact that Westport have already booked their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
