Cavan is a happy hunting ground for Brendan

The Cavan Equestrian Centre is certainly a happy hunting ground for Coolgreany man, Brendan Murphy, on Sunday evening he took the top two positions in the TRM Spring Tour.

Sixty combinations took on the course, twenty made it through to the jump-off, victory went to Immun Ocean Ogara, with the runner-up spot going to Farno D’or, and he also took the leading young rider in the class.

Last December, he won both legs of the Autumn Grand Prix at the same venue, twenty-year-old Murphy is based with Vinny Duffy in Mayo, he had a spell in Germany with Cameron Hanley.
