Going will be ‘soft’ at Fairwood, Tinahely, tomorrow for Bray Harriers’ point-to-point run over Shillelagh & District Hunt’s long-established hillside track with 69 entries for the six-race card. First race is off at 1 pm. The card is as follows;
1 pm; Gaelic Plant Hire Four-Year-Old Maiden Race (12 entries).
1.30 pm; Specialist Cars and Hunters Anon Syndicate and Ballyorney Veterinary Clinic Five-Year-Old Geldings Maiden Race (14 entries).
2 pm; John Durkan Memorial Open Novice Riders Race (9 entries).
2.30 pm; John R Fitzpatrick Agricultural Contractor Five-Year-Old Mares Maiden Race (11 entries).
3 pm; Fitzpatrick Gallagher McEvoy Solicitors Winner of Two Race (13 entries).
3.30 pm; Kent Carty Solicitors and Frank and Martin O’Donnell Six-Year-Old Plus Maiden Race (10 entries).
Barry O’Neill rode a four length winner called Danjaman, whose mother is named Boolavogue, for Marshall Watson in the opening confined hunt race at the Tynan and Armagh Foxhounds point-to-point in testing conditions at Farmaclaffley today.
