The only game to survive Storm Denis in the County is the Wexford Cup clash between North End Utd and St Josephs at 11am in Belvedere.

This “David and Goliath” clash sees North End Utd, top of the Premier Division, take on St Josephs, third in Division 3, thirty-four places below them in the Wexford Football League. It will be our “Match Of The Day”, with game highlights and interviews available on Sunday night.

Gorey Rangers’ Sunday game away to Castlebar Celtic in the FAI Junior Cup has also fallen a victim to Storm Denis, not all bad news for the north Wexford side, as they will now have home advantage for the re-fixed game.
