Chris “Hopper” Kenny has played League of Ireland as captain for Wexford FC and Sligo. He has also played for his country representing our armed forces.

Shamrock Rovers manager, Paul Kirwan, told WexfordToday, “Hopper is another big addition for us at Shamrock Rovers after we signed Ricky Fox back from Wexford pre-Christmas.”

“He’s been training with us since mid-December and we can all see he’s enjoying being around the lads again. One thing of big notice with hopper is that how he mentors the younger fellas around the squad. We are hoping he will help to bring us some silverware back to the club this season.”
