Michael Goff’s, Clondaw Secret, topped this evening’s Tattersalls sale at Cheltenham, the five-year-old son of Court Cave, a full brother to the Willie Mullins trained, Clondaw Court, won his maiden in Boulta in December, he was a £135,000 purchase for Aidan O’Ryan and Gordon Elliott.
Goff’s recent Tinahely winner, Nelsons Rock, looks set to join the Colin Tizzard yard in the UK following his 50k bid, the son of Mount Nelson scored twice between the flags, both victories coming at the Wicklow circuit.
Kevin O’Donnell’s Ballycrystal winner from last Sunday, Lesser, was a £50,000 purchase for the Richard Phillips yard.
Fifteen lots were offered for sale this evening following racing, thirteen of which were sold, for a total value of £802,000
