The game of the weekend in the second round of the Creane & Creane Wexford Cup is certainly the clash between Gorey Rangers and Moyne Rangers in Ramstown at 11.30 on Sunday morning.
Shamrock Rovers manager, Paul Kirwan, said, “I fear for the Moyne on Sunday” and he expects a comfortable victory for Gorey in the game.
Gorey Rangers chairman, Gary O’Brien, compares his side to Liverpool; both teams have run up a long unbeaten sequence.
Nicky Murphy expects a big performance from the Moyne, he will be disappointed if their big players do not stand up, Dave O’Shea gives us a health check on the Enniscorthy side’s panel, but I always thought Dave was a teacher, not a doctor.
Gorey came out on top when the two sides met only a few weeks ago, last years encounter in the Cup, again went to Gorey, this time on penalties, so we expect a close, competitive encounter, and kick-off is at 11.30, so make sure to come along to a fantastic game.
Watch the preview below with our panel of Dave O’Shea, Nicky Murphy, Ben Casserly, Gary O’Brien, and Paul Kirwan, as they give us their thoughts on the game.
