The draw for the second round of the Wexford Football League’s, “Creane & Creane Wexford Cup” took place earlier this evening.

But in a rather bizarre move, the Wexford Football League are witholding the publication of the complete draw until tomorrow.

In fact, they have listed the “Draw of the round”, as the tie between “Gorey Rangers v Moyne Rangers”, this was posted on their Facebook page earlier tonight, and a short time later, they posted another tie, “Rosslare Rangers A v Rosslare Rangers B”.

Surely the soccer clubs in Wexford deserve to be treated with a little respect, the second-round games are the highlight of the season for many clubs in the lower divisions as they get the chance to play some of the Premier teams.

Again we see a lack of vision from the people in charge of soccer at a local level.
