Champion Kiltealy handler Colin Bowe was tonight honoured as winner of the point-to-point category at the annual HRI Awards.

Bowe has dominated the point-to-point scene for past 12 years and was seven times champion handler in 2010, 2011, 2015 (when he shared the title with his neighbour Donnchadh Doyle), 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.  years. His total of 45 winners in 2019 was a personal best, 21 of them were four-year olds.

So far, this season, Colin has saddled 13 winners and is top of the 2019-2020 national championship table.

He saddled his first winners during the 2007-’08 season and enjoyed eleven successes in his first season.
