Fianna Fail TD, James Brown, told WexfordToday.com, that he is “seeking an urgent meeting with Minister Doyle and the Chairman of the Irish Greyhound Board, Frank Nyhan”, following yesterday’s shock announcement of the pending closure of the Enniscorthy Greyhound Track.

He added, “the track is there since the 1930’s” and “the town has taken a lot of hits and this is another blow”.

It would be a huge loss to the greyhound industry, the town, and lots of GAA clubs, charIties, etc run fundraising meetings at the track.
