A public meeting about water quality issues in the Waterford Harbour catchment and following on from consultation on the draft River Basin Management Plan 2017 will be held in the Fort Conan Hotel, Duncannon on Monday, December 2nd at 7.30 pm.

Areas included are from the Arboretum to Ballysop to Hook Head, including the villages of Duncannon, Campile, Ramsgrange and Arthurstown.

The Local Authority Waters Programme will be undertaking work to gain a better understanding of what is happening in the Waterford Harbour Priority Area for Action.  Information on plans for this area will be made available at the public meeting.

This is a new approach to water quality management in Ireland and the public are urged to come along to the meeting and hear how you too can get involved.  Further information on www.watersandcommunities.ie
