Verona Murphy’s chances of winning the Wexford by-election seems to be in tatters following lots of adverse media attention in recent days, late last night she pulled out of RTE’s “Late Debate”, and this is certainly reflected in bookmaker reaction this morning.

A couple of days ago she was 5/2, but this morning she has been further pushed out to 7/2 with local bookmaker, Richard Walsh, significantly, Labour’s George Lawlor, has been cut from 6’s into 5/1.
