Other allocations included New Ross and Rosslare Golf Clubs, the Ballagh Boxing Club and Killurin Rowing Club.

Our regular contributor Peter Mernagh, who is also Chairman of Monageer Boolavogue GAA Club, welcomed the news of his clubs allocation of over €46,000.

Monageer Boolavogue GAA Club Chairman welcomed today’s news

“It’s a great scheme for clubs to be able to constantly improve their facilities and to achieve important improvements that just wouldn’t be affordable otherwise. We are very pleased with our allocation, which will allow us to undertake important safety work and improve our clubs facilities. Hopefully, this work can be completed by the Spring of 2020.”
