Barry O’Neill and Colin Bowe are both back on top of the championship table after winning both divisions of the four year old maiden race at Loughanmore, Co. Antrim, this afternoon.
Fiston Des Issards by three and a half lengths in division one and Jay Bee Why by three lengths by three lengths in division two, both running in the Milestone Racing Partnership, brought the Kiltealy champions a quick double, while O’Neill also teamed up with Brian Hamilton to win the ‘older geldings’ maiden race by one length on The Bolder Boy to complete a treble and bring his seasonal tally to eight.
Jamie Scallan, Tomhaggard, was aboard Arans Choice for the team of Jenny and Benny Walsh and ran out a one length winner in the mares maiden race.
And there was a fourth Wexford trained winner when My Story, in the Monbeg Partnership colours, trained at Ballindaggin by Sean Doyle was victorious by two lengths in the Winner of Two race ridden by Rob James.
