The popular point-to-point track at Fairwood Park, Tinahely, has passed a Turf Club inspection and is ready for action as 97 entries make-up tomorrows six race card run under the auspices of Shillelagh & District Hunt.
The organisers are promising a food day’s racing and hoping for a good sized attendance. The card is as follows;

Niamh Rothwell in her first year as Hunt Secretary with the Shillelagh’s said; “We passed the Turf Club inspection this morning and the going is yielding, yielding to soft in places.”
Children will be admitted free. General admission is €10 per person. First race at 2 pm.
