Peter Mernagh spoke to Cllr. Lisa McDonald over the weekend; a native of Piercestown, a qualified solicitor, now residing in Murrintown, she served as a member of Wexford County Council from 2004-07, a Senator from 2007 to 2011, co-opted onto the council in July 2016, she retained her seat in the newly formed Rosslare area during the summer.

Lisa has been selected by Fianna Fáil to run in the next general election but has been overlooked by her party for the By-election. She gives her take on the situation locally within Fianna Fáil, the likely outcome of a general election, Rosslare Europort, mental health, and many more issues that need addressing within County Wexford.
