We were delighted to catch up with Mick Wallace over the weekend, Caoimhe Kenny spoke to him about his early years growing up, right up to the current day as a member of the European Parliament.
One of twelve children, born in Wellingtonbridge, he graduated from University College Dublin with a teaching qualification. First elected in 2011 to the 31st Dail, he topped the poll that year, was also elected in 2016. In July of this year, he was elected as an MEP for Ireland South.
In 2007, Mick founded the Wexford Youths and brought League Of Ireland soccer to the county.
