Brad O’Neill was recently appointed manager of Wexford’s Oscar Traynor team; Nicky Murphy spoke to him during the week.
Wexford Have been Drawn in a 3 Team Group, Leinster Senior League ( Away), Defence Forces ( Home), with two teams to qualify from the group.
As a player, Brad won 7 Premier League titles, 3 Reserve League titles, 2 Wexford Cups, captained Ross Celtic to the FAI cup final in 1994, won 3 Wexford Premier League “Player Of The Year” awards, 3 years in a row, and played with the Oscar Traynor team for 12 years. As a manager he won 4 Premier League’s, 4 in a row, 3 Premier Reserve titles, 3 in a row, 2 Wexford Cups, and reached the semi-final of FAI Cup.
