Twenty years old defender Darragh O’Connor has the sporting world at his feet having completed a move to English Premier League side Leicester City.
Darragh always held a passion for soccer and started off his career with his local club Cloughbawn A.F.C. He later played with Waterford and Shamrock Rovers and joined Wexford FC last January, coming off the bench for his debut against Cobh Ramblers the following March, and making a total of 20 appearances since joining the club.
He went on trial to the Premier League outfit in July and has linked up with the Leicester City under 23 side this week.
