The third qualifier of Horse Sport Ireland’s Foal Championship qualifier took place in the Wexford Equestrian Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Oliver Walsh’s, colt foal, by Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet (BWP), out of FMSH High Expectations (ISH), by Golden Master (TB), won the Pony Foal Eventing section, and this fantastic little foal, looks certain to go close, in the championship final, to be held in the Cavan Equestrian Centre, at the end of October.

Both qualifying slots in the Showjumping Pony section stayed in the county; first place went to Togat, Johnny Murphy’s colt foal, by Killaspic Braveheart (CP), out of Friarstown Alva (CP), and the runner-up spot went to Stephen McDonald, Camolin, filly foal, by Weststar Sunny (CP), out of Dancing Jasmine.

Eventing Foal
1- Derry Rothwell’s, colt foal, by Greenhall (ISH), out of Greenhall Kay (ISH), by Ghareeb (TB).
2- Tom Clancy’s, filly foal, by Pointilliste (TB), out of TC Silver Bounce (ISH), by Grange Bouncer (IDC1).

Showjumping Foal
1- Ronan Rothwell’s, filly foal, by Malito de Reve (SF), out of Arina (KWPN) , by Crown Z (Zang).
2- Richie O’Hara’s, filly foal, by Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve (BWP), out of Erazah, by Canturano (HOLST)

Eventing Pony Foal
