The Tattersalls Two Day July Show hosted the final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Series, a National Grand Prix as well as a leg of the TRM/ Horse Sport Ireland New Heights Champions Series.

Eighteen year old, Doonaveeragh O One, ridden by International event rider, Esib Power, completed the double, she won the National Grand Prix on Saturday and the New Heights on Sunday with her “old” event horse. Based in Summerhill in County Meath, Esib, is a daughter of Aga Khan winning rider, Captain Con Power, and her brother, Robert, is one of the country’s leading national hunt jockeys.

The Rotoath venue also hosted the final leg of HSI’s Showjumping Stud Book Series, Jason Higgins & Creevyquinn Pearl (ISH) took the runner-up spot in the 5yo final, the Cardento mare is owned by Mary Kehoe and Michael Condon, Monagear.

Jason Foley & Dawsons Flex took the 6yo final, the winning six year old Carnalway Gold, is owned by John Kearney. Patrick Hickey took fifth place in the class with the home bred, GRS Lady Amaro, her dam, Legal Lady, by Over The River, was placed in point-to-points.
