Drugs worth €2m found in horsebox at Rosslare

Over €2 million worth of drugs, believed to be cocaine, were discovered in a horsebox coming off the ferry at Rosslare Europort around 5 pm yesterday (Thursday) evening.

It was part of a joint customs officers and Garda operation and a man from the Midlands area was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Wexford Garda Station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
