Ballykelly Notalot wins Breeders’ qualifier at Gorey

The recent Gorey Agricultural Show hosted an RDS qualifier for the “Breeders’ Championship” qualifier, the judges on the day, Pat Hutchinson and Alastair Pim, tell us what they are looking for in the mare and foal.

The Margaret Jeffares owned Ballykelly Notalot, and her colt foal by OBOS Quality 004 took the red ribbon in the class. No stranger to success in Dublin, Notalot, was champion yearling filly in 2013, and two years later supreme youngstock champion.

Lucy’s Princess owned by Richard Drohan, County Waterford, and Parkmore Evita owned by Patrick Wafer, Carnew, both qualified for the The Irish Field sponsored Breeders Championship in Ring 1 on the Friday of the Dublin Horse Show.
