Gardai at Enniscorthy are investigating a serious incident on Templeshannon Quay this evening where it is alleged that a woman was attacked at gun point.
The incident occurred around 7 pm. Local knowledge suggests that the incident may have occurred near the Bus Stop.
Gardai were quickly drafted into the area and a short stand-off may have occurred.
It is understood that two Romanian nationals who are resident in nearby apartments have been arrested at the scene.

Gardaí have so far not responded to calls from WexfordToday.com regarding the incident.
