There were long traffic delays in all directions into Enniscorthy at lunchtime today when a car and a lorry were involved in an accident at Bridge Point, close to the Seamus Rafter Bridge.
Shortly after mid-day a car on the inside lane became jammed between the foothpath and the articulated lorry as both vehicles were turning in the same direction.
No injuries were sustained. The junction was very busy at the time.
Traffic has now resumed to normal.
