The Pettitt’s Senior Hurling Championship gets underway with the clash of Oulart-The Ballagh and Oylegate-Glenbrien in Bellefield on Friday evening at 7pm, the referee for the game is Ballymurn’s, Brian O’Leary.

Liam Dunne is back in charge in Oulart this year as the team will be looking to re-group after last year’s almost disastrous season, where as, Oylegate, will be looking to build on last year’s county semi-final where they narrowly lost out to Naomh Eanna.

Oylegate had a one point victory over Oulart, 3-18 to 3-17, in last year’s group stages, so Friday night’s encounter could well be another close one, let’s take a look at how our panel sees this one shaping up, over to Peter Mernagh, Darren Stamp and Edmund Rowsome.
